+ Solid Works Four Week Comprehensive

OVERVIEW:

Course Duration:160 hour Course minimum

Tuition: $4800.00 US (Our most popular course).

Week One
Learn proper modeling techniques in this near one on one instruction, to utilize drawings to aid in modeling, cross sections, exploded views. basics of surfacing.

Week Two

Obtain detail drawings, large assembly management, and some advanced part design skills in this one week intensive. Might also cover the basics of sheetmetal.

Week Three
Obtain manufacturing skills in Plastic Part design, Die casting, Forging, Sheet metal all in this one week intensive.

Week Four
Surfacing with respect to engineers working with industrial designers or industrial designers looking to gain a large grasp with surfacing inside of Solidworks. Often the weekends are set aside for student projects and other times the last three days of this four week program are set aside for student projects.

Student Projects are often customized to suit individual student needs and are primarily used to obtain employment showing competency and that you used the software on something other than school.

To perform in an engineering, mechanical designer or design engineer positions around the world persons must be able to operate Solidworks at a level beyond others to be considered for the position. Our four week programs are designed to give you the skills and confidence, contractors need to secure a job and perform at a job once obtained. Often times once the first week or so is accomplished participants will want to focus their efforts on surfacing with respect to plastics, sheetmetal or FEA. We strongly encourage a specialty in order for your resume to stand out from others.

To get a job
Our training staff is made up of industrial designer and mechanical engineers who have extensive work history. We teach how to design parts and assemblies and leave you to with projects in a last week to develop a project that can be used to gain employment. Stop by the Design Engine office for a visit.
